Place branding professionals meet the Best Place European Place Marketing Institute in Poland
The Best Place – European Place Marketing Institute is a society of experts, a think-tank in regards to place marketing, working actively for the development of cities, regions and countries. The Institute supports the development of place marketing through research, teaching, advise and work on perfecting the marketing for the sustainable development of places.
The European Place Marketing Institute seeks new ideas and works on perfecting the already known and used marketing tools for place development. It combines science with practice. At the moment about 15 international experts share their knowledge and experience in place marketing area. Being already very active in Poland, the ambitious aims of Institute include among others:
- Educate local governments, public and non-profit organizations, companies, natural persons through trainings, lectures, study tours, workshops, etc.
- Distribute information oriented to popularization of knowledge related to local governments’ development and place marketing in particular.
- Publish expertise, reports, research results, books, and opinion pieces.
- Initiate research activities (participation in projects as well as own initiatives).
- Exchange ideas and experience through organization of meetings, conferences and initiate partnerships among parties interested in.
- Participate and organize international events, such as: exhibitions, fairs, conferences, competitions, symposiums, other meetings.
- Award local governments, public organizations, companies and natural persons for special achievements and best practices.
